Labor and HR Consultation
We provide information and consultation on labor and HR issues. This includes updated information on social insurance, labor insurance, and other labor and HR-related laws and regulations that are revised every year, as well as advice on how to establish a compliance system. Bilingual services are also available, so it is easy for companies headquartered in foreign countries to quickly understand any necessary changes they need to make to their various systems, rules, and regulations in response to legal revisions. We also provide advice on how to prepare any necessary guidelines, and how to then explain those guidelines to foreign employees.
Social Insurance and Labor Insurance Procedures
Our clients have the option to outsource to us the required social insurance and labor insurance procedures related to employees entering and leaving a company, as well as the formulation and reporting of labor-management agreements and other documents necessary to comply with the Labor Standards Law and various personnel and labor laws and ordinances.
Lump-sum Withdrawal Payment Application Service
Foreign employees who have been enrolled in and who have paid into the pension system in Japan for more than 6 months have the option to apply for a refund (Lump-sum Withdrawal Payment) to the Japan Pension Service within 2 years of leaving Japan. We can apply for these Lump-sum Withdrawal Payments on behalf of foreign employees. Since we make these contracts with foreign employees leaving Japan ourselves, the company will not have to worry about incurring the costs and undergoing the associated procedures for pension refund application services after the foreign employee’s retirement.
We offer payroll processing services on behalf of our clients. The company can choose to outsource payroll processing to us, which we would conduct together with the Social Insurance and Labor Insurance procedures. We can also calculate gross-up payroll, which is a unique service we provide for the payroll calculation of foreigners who transferred to a company in Japan (expats).
*Payroll calculation services are only available for clients who conclude monthly service contracts with us.
Drafting Employment Regulations
Companies with 10 or more employees must create and submit employment regulations to the Labor Standards Inspection Office. Changes to these regulations also require submission. Bilingual Service Available (English/Japanese)
We communicate and provide our services in both English and Japanese, which greatly relieves HR departments abroad of potential burdens including the need to prepare bilingual HR-related documents and briefing materials for employees or explaining Japanese laws to their head office. If your company has HR offices overseas, we can also report HR and payroll-related documents to those overseas offices.
